Job description

• SPAR Market (Festac) is seeking a hardworking and reliable back store porter to support store operations by handling stock, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring efficient movement of goods within the store. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in keeping the store organized and well-stocked.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and organizing stock in the backroom and storage areas.


• Ensure timely restocking of shelves and displays as needed.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the back store area.


• Assist with packing, sorting, and labeling of merchandise.


• Dispose of waste materials and packaging responsibly.


• Support store staff with stock movement and arrangement.


• Follow safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of goods.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with 1 - 3 years relevant work experience.


• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required.


• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items.


• Good teamwork and communication skills.


• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.


• Punctual, responsible, and hardworking.


• Male for gender balance


• Must be living around Festac and its environs.
