Job Summary
- We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architect to design, plan, and oversee the construction of buildings and other structures.
- The Architect will collaborate with clients, engineers, and construction teams to create functional, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing designs that meet regulatory standards and client needs.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to determine project requirements, objectives, and budget.
- Prepare and present design proposals using CAD software, sketches, and physical models.
- Develop detailed architectural plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other professionals during all project phases.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure designs are properly implemented.
- Research and select appropriate materials and construction techniques.
- Modify designs based on client feedback and technical constraints.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
- 3+ years of professional experience in architectural design and project management.
- Licensed/registered Architect (or in the process of obtaining licensure).
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design and project management capabilities.
- Excellent visualization, communication, and presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of construction processes, zoning laws, and building codes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Creative thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with sustainable (green) building practices.
- Certification in LEED or other environmental design standards.
