Job Summary:



The Area Sales Coordinator is responsible for assisting the sales team in achieving sales goals, managing customer relationships, coordinating marketing activities, and providing administrative support within a specific geographic area. The role includes ensuring smooth sales operations and supporting the sales team to meet targets efficiently.



Key Responsibilities:



Sales Support:




  • Assist sales representatives by providing necessary sales tools, documents, and reports.

  • Ensure timely order processing, customer follow-ups, and resolution of issues related to orders or deliveries.

  • Track sales performance and provide sales analysis reports.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

  • Serve as a liaison between the sales team and customers to ensure excellent service and satisfaction.

  • Assist in addressing customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback.

  • Maintain and update customer databases.



Sales Coordination:




  • Support the sales team in planning and executing promotional activities, campaigns, and events.

  • Coordinate product demonstrations, meetings, and training sessions for clients and prospects.

  • Monitor inventory levels and liaise with the logistics team for stock updates and distribution.



Administrative Tasks:




  • Handle sales documentation, including quotes, contracts, and agreements.

  • Prepare sales reports and presentations for management.

  • Organize meetings and sales events to boost product knowledge and team performance.



Market and Competitor Analysis:




  • Collect and analyze competitor data and market trends to help identify new opportunities and threats.

  • Communicate customer feedback and insights to the sales team for strategy development.



Qualifications:




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in sales support or coordination (preferably in the plastic industry).

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite 

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of the local market and customer base.

  • Experience with sales reporting and analytics.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to communication Local Languages in WESTERN Nigeria is an Added Advantage.
