May University Press Limited has vacancies for experienced writers, transcriptionist and office assistant.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct research to obtain factual information and authentic detail, utilizing sources such as libraries and archives, newspaper accounts, diaries and interviews.
- Create and submit write-ups for approval, and re-write and revise written works to meet standards required by the company and its clients;
- Take on various writing, re-writing and reading assignments.
Requirements
- A good first degree in the humanities or social sciences;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a sound knowledge of the structure and use of English in various contexts;
- A minimum of two (2) years work experience in a related position;
- Good planning and research skills.
Please note: the responsibilities of the Office assistant also includes cleaning and general maintenance of the company.
