Job Description
A dynamic, fast-growing industrial solutions and engineering services company is seeking a Financial Controller to lead its finance operations.
This role requires a strategic, hands-on finance leader who can drive financial management, operational efficiency, and business growth in a project-driven, high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full spectrum of financial management: accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, forecasting, and reporting.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and statutory requirements.
- Implement and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and risk management processes.
- Lead budget planning, cost control, financial analysis, and variance reporting.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory reporting, and audit requirements.
- Manage banking relationships, treasury functions, and external audits.
- Provide strategic financial advice and business insights to senior management.
- Oversee ERP system utilization and improvements for financial operations.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ACA, ACCA, or ICAN certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive finance experience.
- At least 3 years in a senior finance leadership position (e.g., Finance Manager, Senior Finance Business Partner, or Financial Controller).
- Strong experience in engineering, industrial services, automation, manufacturing, or project-based industries is highly preferred.
- Excellent command of IFRS, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Exceptional leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commercial awareness.
