Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in physical and human geography, environmental studies, and geographic tools


•  Create a stimulating learning environment and inspire students to reach their potential


• Generate enthusiasm for the subject being taught and inspire all students to work to their potential.


• Assess, record, and monitor student progress according to faculty guidelines


• Liaise with the Head of Department and Learning Support where a student may have special educational needs, and with the form tutor and Head of House if a student is experiencing pastoral difficulties.


• Provide high-quality, accurate, constructive, and targeted information to parents at


• Parents' Evenings, in subject reports, incidental meetings, and communications.


• Assess, record, and monitor the progress of all students according to faculty guidelines.


• Provide accurate information to parents in a variety of forms, as and when necessary.


• Manage classroom behavior and promote high standards of organization

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree in Geography Education or related field


• Strong communication & classroom management skills.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching geography 


•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to communicate with young children at their level 


•  Patient, compassionate attitude with a friendly and energetic disposition


• TRCN Certification is an added advantage
