Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct students on how computers work, including the basic science and mathematics behind their operation and the hardware and software built on those foundations.


• Teach students how to write computer programs, algorithms, and programming languages.


• Create lesson plans and utilize various curriculum resources.


• Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans.


• Create projects designed to enhance lectures.


• Keep records of grades, grade papers, and perform other administrative duties as needed.


• Work with program coordinators to ensure initiatives are being met.


•  Read and stay abreast of current trends in information technology.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline


• 5 years of prior experience as an ICT Teacher


• Applicable professional qualification, such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco certification


• Passionate about fostering computer literacy and academic excellence


• Excellent presentation abilities


• Strong written and administrative skills


• Able to use an interactive or smart board


• 21st-century teaching skills


• TRCN Certification is an added advantage
