Key Responsibilities




  • Implement strategic sales plans to consistently exceed targets.

  • Lead high-level client negotiations and secure profitable contracts.

  • Analyse market trends and customer feedback to improve performance.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

  • Lead, train, and motivate sales associates and showroom staff.

  • Conduct regular team meetings to align goals and share insights.

  • Ensure optimal staffing and scheduling for peak performance.

  • Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration within the team.

  • Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to create impactful displays.

  • Oversee inventory management and ensure accurate product labeling.

  • Coordinate deliveries, installations, and after-sales support.

  • Promote a customer-first approach within the team.

  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and urgency.

  • Develop initiatives such as loyalty programs and in-store events to enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Provide regular performance reports, including sales trends and customer feedback.

  • Monitor competitor activity and provide insights to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Track digital catalogue updates and ensure showroom best-sellers are consistently available.



Requirements

Education:




  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • A Master’s Degree or professional certification is an added advantage.



Experience:




  • Minimum of 3 years in sales, preferably in the furniture or interior design industry.

  • Strong retail management and team leadership experience.



Skills & Competencies:




  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, POS systems, and ERP software.

  • Eye for design and visual merchandising.

  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.

  • Knowledge of current furniture and interior design trends.
