Our SCALE product focuses on Value-Added Services (VAS) such as health insurance, CNG conversion, vehicle insurance, vehicle papers renewal, spare parts, repairs, and credit.



The Spares and Repairs Lead is responsible for managing the spare parts and repair needs of client/customer vehicles on the SCALE platform. This includes onboarding and managing a network of high-quality third-party mechanics and workshops, coordinating repairs, and ensuring the availability and timely supply of spare parts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically sound, and committed to service excellence



Key Responsibilities




  • Identify, vet, and onboard qualified third-party mechanics and repair shops with proven technical competence.

  • Source and manage relationships with reliable spare parts vendors who supply genuine, high-quality components.

  • Coordinate all repair and maintenance activities for client/customer vehicles, ensuring quick and efficient service.

  • Set, communicate, and enforce service quality standards and SLAs for both mechanics and parts vendors.

  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure repairs meet expected standards.

  • Investigate and resolve cases of substandard repairs; ensure no repeat jobs occur due to poor workmanship.

  • Maintain a central performance database of vendors and workshops, tracking service quality, customer feedback, and compliance.

  • Handle escalations and provide support in resolving service-related issues between clients and vendors.

  •  

  • Train vendors and mechanics periodically on Renda’s service expectations and customer commitment.

  •  

  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvements in customer experience and operational efficiency



Key Qualifications & Requirements




  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in automotive services, vendor management, or workshop operations.

  • Demonstrated ability to enforce service quality standards and conduct root cause analysis on failed repairs.

  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and spare parts authenticity.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience working with third-party service providers in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
