About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced Bespoke Gown Tailor specializing in high-end women’s couture and custom-made gowns. This role requires mastery in pattern-making, cutting, draping, garment construction, and finishing techniques to produce elegant, perfectly tailored pieces.


• The ideal candidate has extensive experience in bespoke womenswear, understands luxury craftsmanship, and thrives in a detail-oriented, high-precision environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, cut, sew, and construct custom gowns and luxury womenswear, ensuring a perfect fit.


• Work with clients to take accurate measurements and conduct fittings to achieve flawless tailoring.


• Draft patterns from scratch or modify existing ones for precise garment structure.


• Expertly handle delicate, high-end fabrics such as silk, lace, tulle, organza, and satin.


• Use couture sewing techniques such as boning, corsetry, hand-finishing, and intricate draping.


• Collaborate with beaders and embellishment artisans to integrate embroidery, beading, and appliqués.


• Perform garment alterations with expert-level precision.


• Ensure high standards of craftsmanship and oversee strict quality control.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in luxury fashion, couture, or bespoke tailoring.


• Mastery in pattern drafting, draping, and advanced garment construction.


• Proficient in industrial sewing machines, hand-sewing, and finishing techniques.


• Highly skilled in creating structured and flowing silhouettes.


• Adaptable and quick-thinking in making fitting adjustments.


• Detail-oriented with an uncompromising commitment to precision.
