JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of traditional African dishes, including soups, stews, grilled items, and local specialties.


• Ensure ingredients are properly sourced, cleaned, and prepared in accordance with food hygiene standards.


• Follow authentic recipes and traditional cooking techniques to preserve original flavors and presentation.


• Monitor food quality, taste, and portion sizes to maintain consistency and customer satisfaction.


• Manage kitchen inventory by tracking stock levels and coordinating timely restocking of African spices and ingredients.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking utensils at all times.


• Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.


• Stay updated on regional African culinary trends and incorporate new recipes or variations when needed.
