Job Summary

• An Agronomy manager will oversee agronomy research and crop monitoring activities within the company. 


• The agronomy manager is expected to always be up-to-date with the latest advances in sugarcane science and technology and constantly seek more efficient and sustainable ways to manage the cane within the estate.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• To ensure Developed & implement agronomy research plans and strategies.


• Oversee soil and crop analysis and monitor pests and diseases.


• Must Monitor, evaluate and report on agronomy activities.


• Ensure Coordinate and supervise activities of agronomy staff


• Ensure compliance with relevant cane production processes

Educational Qualification and Work Experience

• Must possess an MSc. in Sugarcane Agronomy.


• Professional Certification is an added advantage.


• Minimum 10-15 years in Agronomy operations.
