Job Summary




  • We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable company in the renewable energy sector, to hire a proactive and results-oriented Sales Executive based in Ikeja, Lagos.

  • The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of renewable energy products and be willing to engage in field marketing activities.

  • This role requires actively promoting the company's products through direct marketing, client engagement, and sales conversions, ensuring consistent growth and customer satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities




  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, and in-person visits.

  • Actively participate in field marketing activities to introduce and promote renewable energy products to potential customers.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations and solutions.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.

  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and progress reports using CRM tools.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, customer service, etc.) to align strategies and support customer needs.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market developments, particularly within the renewable energy sector.

  • Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and explore further sales opportunities.

  • Provide timely feedback and insights to management regarding market trends and customer preferences.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in a related or technical industry.

  • Basic knowledge or interest in renewable energy solutions is an advantage.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships.

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with field-based sales and marketing.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

  • Good knowledge of the Ikeja market and its business landscape.
