Responsibilities

Machine Operation and Maintenance:

• Operating the Peeling Machine: They load nuts into the machine, adjust settings as needed, and monitor the process to ensure efficient and effective peeling.


• Maintaining the Machine: They regularly check the machine for any malfunctions, perform routine maintenance tasks (like cleaning or lubrication), and report any necessary repairs.

Quality Control:

• Inspecting Peeled Nuts: They inspect the peeled nuts for broken kernels, shell fragments, or other defects to ensure quality standards are met.


• Sorting and Grading: They may be involved in sorting and grading the kernels based on size, shape, and color.

Other Responsibilities:

• Safety: Following safety protocols for operating the machinery and handling the nuts.


• Monitoring Performance: Keeping track of the machine's performance, including peeling rates, broken kernel rates, and kernel rate, to ensure efficiency.


• Communication: Communicating with other workers in the cashew processing plant, such as those involved in shelling or grading.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND / NCE / HND / B.Sc Degree with 3 - 10 years relevant working experience.
