Genherb Wellness Limited is a fast-growing herbal wellness brand on a mission to provide safe, effective, and nature-powered remedies that support long-term health. We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accountant to manage our financial records, ensure compliance, and support our growing operations with accurate reporting and insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including income, expenses, payroll, and transactions.


• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.


• Reconcile bank statements and monitor account balances.


• Manage invoices, receivables, and payables efficiently.


• Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with financial regulations.


• Collaborate with the operations and sales teams to track product cost and profitability.


• Provide financial insights and forecasts to support decision-making.


• Assist in budget preparation and expense control measures.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Excel).


• High attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.


• Strong organizational and communication skills.


• Minimum qualification: OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required)

• Previous experience in accounting within FMCG, health, or wellness industries.


• Familiarity with budgeting and financial analysis tools.


• Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulatory compliance.
