- A cleaner's job is tomaintain the cleanliness and hygiene of an assigned area, which may be a home, office, or other facility.
- They perform tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting, while also ensuring that trash is removed and supplies are replenished.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Cleaning Tasks:
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors and surfaces.
- Sanitizing and disinfecting high-touch areas.
- Emptying trash bins and replacing liners.
Restroom Cleaning and Supplies:
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms.
- Replenishing supplies like toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels.
Other Cleaning Tasks:
- Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
- Polishing furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
- Maintaining and stocking cleaning supplies.
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
Additional Responsibilities:
- May be required to clean and maintain specific areas like kitchens or operating rooms.
- May need to follow specific cleaning schedules and protocols.
- May assist with minor repairs or maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess an NCE / OND / SSCE qualification with 3 - 4 years work experience in a related field.
