Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the college’s computer systems, network, and servers.
- Provide technical support to staff and students
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware.
- Ensure data security, backups, and disaster recovery systems are in place.
- Monitor system performance and implement upgrades as necessary.
- Maintain records of IT assets and update documentation regularly.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience in IT administration at the tertiary level will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of network systems, cybersecurity, and system administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Moodle, Exam.net, Windows and Linux environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
