Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport staff, goods, or documents.


• Ensure the vehicle is always clean, maintained, and in good working condition.


• Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and report mechanical issues promptly.


• Comply with traffic laws and company driving policies.


• Maintain accurate records of travel, fuel consumption, and vehicle servicing.


• Assist with loading/unloading as needed.


• Obey traffic laws, state and federal transit regulations.


• Follow a planned route according to a time schedule.


• Be safety conscious at all times


• Monitoring and reporting fuel consumption, mileage, and passenger numbers.


• Help physically challenged passengers get on and off the bus.


• Daily sweeping and cleaning of the bus/car.


• Keep passengers/parents informed of possible delays.


• Responding to emergency and non-emergency situations.


• Reporting delays, accidents, and emergencies to the line manager

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND, SSCE / GCE / NECO  with 5 - 10 years relevant experience.
