A power and Utility officer evaluate, assemble, test and maintain electrical systems, troubleshoot and identify potential fault for immediate resolution, able to read and interpret electrical diagram/schematics.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Perform routine maintenance and repair of utility systems.
Operate hand and power equipment to complete tasks
Assist with the installation of new utility systems
Quick response to emergency situations, such as power outages
Perform regular inspections of utility systems to identify potential issues
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Supervise vendors to carry out their maintenance
Consistence visit and maintain all POP assigned
Accurate records of all expenses carried out in all assigned POP
Making early requisition for diesel and light bills/unit card
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Operating hand and power tools and fault-testing equipment
Education:
B.Sc, HND or ND in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
