Summary




  • The post holder will strategically manage and strengthen the social media presence of key leadership within the organisation.

  • The role will leverage digital platforms to amplify the organization’s impact, highlight leadership contributions to social justice, policy influence, advocacy, and humanitarian efforts, and foster meaningful engagement with a diverse range of stakeholders. 

  • A high level of discretion and a strong commitment to confidentiality are essential, especially when handling sensitive issues.



Person Specifications



Education / Qualifications:




  • First degree in Mass Communication or any related field is essential.



Experience:




  • Knowledge of content production, video and graphics design is essential.

  • Proficient in using major social media platforms such as X, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn is essential.

  • Proficiency in mobile photography and videography is essential.

  • Content production/photography skills is desirable.



Skill / Abilities:




  • Comfortable using social media management tools, mobile graphic design software and mobile editing tools for content creation.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity is highly essential.

  • Basic understanding of analytics tools to track social media performance.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude.

  • Excellent planning and prioritization skills.
