Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in the plant, including furnaces, motors, cranes, fabrication machinery, and lighting systems.


• Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.


• Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.


• Inspect and test electrical components using appropriate tools and instruments (e.g., multimeters, meggers).


• Install conduit, wiring, control panels, switchgear, and distribution systems as per specifications.


• Work with PLCs, motor starters, VFDs, and control circuits.


• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.


• Maintain records of all electrical maintenance activities and update documentation as required.


• Support energy efficiency and electrical safety improvement initiatives.


• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime.


• Coordinate with mechanical fitters, welders, and production staff to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, HND / OND qualification with relevant work experience.
