Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Ikoyi, Lagos.The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant tax and regulatory requirements, and supporting the company’s financial operations with accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.


• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing.


• Perform month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.


• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.


• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with tax laws and statutory filings (e.g., VAT, PAYE, WHT).


• Assist with budget preparation, cost control, and financial forecasting.


• Conduct internal audits and support external audit processes.


• Provide financial insights and analysis to support management decision-making

Requirements

• HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in an accounting or finance role.


• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is a strong advantage.


• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.


• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a high level of integrity.


• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
