Job Description




  • Lead the development and periodic review of the company’s corporate strategy and business plans.

  • Coordinate the annual budget, long-range plans, and forecast cycles.

  • Evaluate upstream project economics (NPV, IRR, payback).

  • Conduct sensitivity analysis and risk assessments for capital investments.

  • Develop and maintain economic models for pricing, contract structuring, and asset valuation.

  • Drive the monetization strategy for oil, gas, and by-products (e.g., barging, offtake, etc.).

  • Liaise with JV partners, regulatory bodies (e.g., NUPRC), and host communities on economic and commercial matters.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance or related discipline (required)

  • MBA or Master’s in Energy Economics / Finance (preferred)

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in upstream oil & gas or oilfield services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, petroleum economics, and contract negotiation.
