Key Responsibilities

Technical Responsibilities:




  • Conduct site inspections and perform detailed load audits.

  • Design and install complete inverter and solar power systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faulty inverters and other electronic components.

  • Develop technical design specifications and functional requirements for solar energy systems and components.

  • Perform detailed analyses and simulations of solar power systems for efficiency and reliability.

  • Lead technical teams in the installation of solar and hybrid systems across all company branches.

  • Provide expert consultation on components of solar PV systems, including modules, inverters, trackers, and meteorological stations.

  • Service and maintain electrical systems integrating solar arrays with grid power.

  • Manage on-site installations, repairs, maintenance, and testing tasks to ensure safety and quality standards.

  • Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols for all solar installations.

  • Contribute to technical feasibility studies, siting, performance assessments, and strategic planning for renewable energy projects.

  • Continually enhance tools, methodologies, and processes to improve installation efficiency and system performance.

  • Stay up to date with new technologies in renewable energy and integrate them into company practices.

  • Provide expert support for energy production estimates, system optimization, and component modeling.

  • Be available for travel nationwide as project needs dictate.

  • Execute additional duties as assigned by management.



Training & Development:




  • Train and mentor trainees and junior engineers on solar installations and renewable energy systems.

  • Design new training modules and renewable energy courses tailored for the company’s learning division (JNL).



Sales & Business Development:




  • Actively source and develop new clientele to grow the company’s market share.

  • Generate high-quality leads aligned with company revenue goals and target markets.



Leadership Responsibilities:




  • Oversee and drive operations of the Renewable Energy Department across all branches.

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development for the renewable energy team.

  • Coordinate cross-branch renewable energy activities to ensure consistency in delivery and performance.

  • Participate in high-level management meetings and contribute to business strategy and decision-making.

  • Build strong performance evaluation and communication systems for technical and sales teams, including authorized representatives.

  • Establish a culture of goal accountability and continuous improvement within the department.

  • Execute any additional strategic tasks as assigned by executive management.



Requirements

Qualifications:



Education:





  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (or equivalent)





Experience:





  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of inverter and solar power systems.





Key Skills and Competencies:




  • Extensive knowledge of tools and techniques used in electrical and solar system installation and maintenance.

  • Strong diagnostic skills in inverter and electronic component troubleshooting.

  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks (e.g., lifting panels, climbing ladders, confined spaces).

  • Solid understanding of international and local standards in solar energy system design and installation.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and team coordination skills.
