Responsibilities 

• Regular patrol walk around the area to detect suspicious activity.


•  Ensure the security of doors and other access points are secured.


•  Monitoring and watching surveillance cameras, inspect buildings, equipment, and items before passing through each access points .


• Monitor access to to the property and respond accordingly to emergencies efficiently and effectively. 


• Safeguard the premises and work closely with other officials to safeguard and protect personnel and property.  


•  Maintain strict access control measures, Permit or prohibit entry, and Check visitors in and out. 


•  Create and report daily incidents, observations, and surveillance activities at the end of shift.


• Maintain logs of people entering and leaving the site 


• Helps to maintain law and order when necessary and follow company policies and procedures to make sure rules are being followed


• Provide excellent customer service to guests by politely greeting and welcoming them.

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as a security guard or chief security officer.


• Be physically fit with ability to stand and walk around for long periods of time, open and close gates.


• Must be honest, and trustworthy with no criminal records 


• Must be able to read, write and convey messages clearly both verbally, non verbally


• Attentiveness and patience for guests


• Excellent initiative and ability to search guests both in and out of the premises.  


• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment


• Active listening and effective communication skills


• Team spirit, and ability to interact effectively with the public and staff


• Must not be a drunkard or smoker


• Reliable with good ethics


• Good attention to detail to detect suspicious activities


• Flexibility to work in shifts and ability to work without much supervision


• High school diploma; security experience is a must


• Prior service experience , security training or certificate a big advantage
