Key Roles & Responsibilities
Food Delivery:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure correct table numbers and seat placements are followed.
- Confirm food presentation meets restaurant standards before delivery.
Guest Service Support:
- Greet guests courteously while serving meals.
- Answer basic questions or direct guests to waitstaff for further assistance.
- Respond promptly to any immediate needs (e.g., extra cutlery, condiments).
Communication & Coordination:
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and waiters to ensure smooth service flow.
- Relay special guest requests or food modifications to the kitchen.
- Notify servers if an order is delayed or incorrect.
Cleanliness & Setup:
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas.
- Assist in resetting tables for the next guests as needed.
- Transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing area promptly.
Team Support:
- Assist waiters during busy periods with tasks like clearing tables or refilling water.
- Collaborate with the entire team to provide fast, friendly, and accurate service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality role is a plus but not required.
- Ability to move quickly and carry multiple plates or trays with care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Polite, professional demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Physically fit and able to be on your feet for extended periods.
- Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
