Job Summary
- As part of our strategic global Human Resource expansion at Tranter IT, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development & Global Recruitment Specialist to drive talent acquisition across new international markets and build partnerships that support the company’s global growth objectives.
- This dual-role position requires a professional with strong recruitment expertise, international hiring experience, and proven business development acumen within Human Resource or tech-enabled services.
Key Responsibilities
Global Recruitment:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across multiple regions (e.g., Africa, US, Europe, Middle East), especially for IT, operations, and business roles.
- Partner with hiring managers and local HR teams to understand talent needs and sourcing strategies per market.
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS, and regional sourcing techniques to attract top talent globally.
- Build and maintain an international talent pipeline for ongoing and future hiring needs.
- Ensure compliance with global hiring standards and regional labor regulations.
- Drive employer branding strategies across global platforms to attract international candidates.
Business Development (HR/Outsourcing Services):
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and clients in targeted international markets.
- Pitch Tranter IT’s outsourcing and recruitment services to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop global expansion roadmaps and market-entry strategies.
- Attend international networking events (virtually or in-person) to drive visibility and partnerships.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback to refine strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, International Relations, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably in recruitment, HR consulting, or staffing industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales/revenue targets in a B2B environment.
- Strong knowledge of global talent markets, especially in Africa, US, Europe, the Middle East, and/or emerging economies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive projects forward.
- Experience in international expansion or cross-border business operations is a plus.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
International Talent Acquisition Success Rate
- Target: Fill 90%+ of assigned global roles within agreed timelines (e.g., 45–60 days for mid-level, 60–90 days for senior/executive roles).
New Market Pipeline Development
- Target: Generate at least 10 qualified leads per quarter from global companies or partners with talent needs, outsourcing potential, or cross-border hiring interest.
Client / Partner Acquisition
- Target: Close 3–5 new business partnerships (e.g., with international recruitment agencies, HR tech platforms, or client organizations) every 6 months.
Revenue Contribution from Talent Placements
- Target: Drive ₦5 million+ in revenue per quarter through direct placements, outsourced recruitment solutions, or staffing services in global markets.
Candidate Experience & Offer Acceptance Rate
- Target: Achieve 80%+ offer acceptance rate and maintain 95%+ positive candidate feedback on the hiring journey (measured through surveys or interviews).

- Pipeline & CRM Management - Uses CRM tools effectively to track leads, follow-ups, conversion rates, and reporting.
