Responsibilities

• Provide support and guidance to students, fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.


• Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons for students, catering to a range of abilities and learning styles, ensuring the curriculum aligns with IGCSE Physics specifications.


• Set and mark assignments, assessments, and exams, providing constructive feedback to support student progress.


• Monitor student progress, identifying areas for improvement and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.


• Develop and implement curriculum plans, schemes of work, and departmental policies to ensure consistency and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Physics/Science or a related field


• Qualified Teacher Status TRCN


• Experience teaching IGCSE Physics or in a British secondary school is a plus


• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum in science specifications


• Excellent teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills


• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs and abilities.
