Our Client in the Gas & Power Industry is seeking seasoned Business Development & Sales Professionals who will drive retail operations and revenue generation in the downstream Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidates would manage daily fuel station operations while driving business growth through customer engagement and strategic sales initiatives. They would be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our client's retail outlets, optimising sales of petroleum products (PMS, AGO, LPG, lubricants), and identifying new business opportunities. The incumbent will also play a critical part in delivering excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, and expanding our client's market footprint across Nigeria.



Summary of Responsibilities:




  • Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned gas retail stations.

  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales of petroleum products and lubricants.

  • Monitor product inventory and ensure timely replenishment and accurate dispensing.

  • Supervise station staff and promote a culture of performance and accountability.

  • Identify and pursue B2B sales opportunities with transport companies, SMEs, and estates.

  • Conduct competitor analysis and local market research for strategic decision-making.

  • Resolve customer issues promptly and uphold high standards of service delivery.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and grow the client base.

  • ⁠Prepare regular reports on sales performance, station activities, and business development efforts.



Role Requirements:




  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline.

  • 7 - 10 years' experience in downstream oil & gas retail or energy product sales.

  • Strong understanding of gas retail station operations and fuel product sales.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • A go-getter with an entrepreneurial mindset and proven ability to hit sales targets.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic sales reporting tools.
