  • We are offering you the opportunity to join us as a technical support. The position is based in Nigeria.

  • We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager M/F to lead and oversee large-scale industrial construction projects in the Oil & Gas sector in Nigeria in Port Harcourt.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.



Key Responsibilities




  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to handover;

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with client requirements and company objectives;

  • Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and HSE;

  • Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards;

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans;

  • Identify and mitigate project risks; implement contingency plans as needed;

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders;

  • Provide regular reports on project progress, issues, and performance to senior management;

  • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and industry standards;

  • Promote a strong safety culture and enforce HSE compliance at all project sites.



Requirements




  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, with at least 8–10 years of project management experience in the Oil & Gas or industrial construction sector.

  • You have a proven experience in managing large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.

  • You have a strong leadership and team management skills. Also a excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • You have solid understanding of local and international HSE regulations and practices.

  • You are recognised for your proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).

  • PMP or equivalent certification is a strong advantage.

  • Your willingness to travel and work on-site across project locations in Nigeria.
