Description 

• Our client seeks an experienced and strategic Head of Security to lead their organization's security operations, policies, and infrastructure.


• This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of physical and digital security, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and data.


• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both corporate and cybersecurity leadership, with proven experience in risk assessment, crisis management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive security strategies and policies.


• Lead physical security operations across all facilities, including surveillance, access control, and incident response.


• Manage cybersecurity initiatives in collaboration with the IT department to safeguard digital assets and information systems.


• Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.


• Develop and manage emergency response plans and business continuity strategies.


• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including data privacy laws and industry standards.


• Manage relationships with external security vendors and law enforcement agencies.


• Lead and mentor the security team, providing training and development opportunities.


• Prepare and present security reports to executive leadership and the board.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Ex-serviceman with relevant security experience.


• Proven experience in a security management role, ideally in a corporate or industrial environment.


• Strong leadership and training skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Knowledge of security technology and systems.


• Ability to remain calm and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
