Job Overview




  • The Technical Procurement Manager is responsible for the sourcing and procurement related to technical products and services, ie., engineering software, spares, heavy-duty, and construction equipment, while ensuring compliance, strong vendor management, drive effective supplier negotiations, cost efficiency, and timely, high-quality delivery aligned with project goals.



Qualifications




  • Candidates should posses a Bachelor's Degree / HND in Engineering or a related field from a reputable tertiary institution is required. 

  • A Master's Degree and membership in a relevant professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM, CPM) are added advantages. 

  • A minimum of 20 years' work experience in procurement management with core engineering technical managerial experience of at least 10 years, is compulsory within the oil and gas industry.

  • Proven track record in successfully negotiating complex contracts and managing supplier relationships.

  • Proficiency in design, implementation, and management of inventory controlsystems.

  • Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain management best practices.

  • Excellent managerial, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong proficiency with ERP systems software (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and using Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong technical understanding of oil & gas equipment and services.
