An engineering company that specialises in the use of digital technologies to develop and deliver solutions in the maritime and oil & gas industries is seeking a Warehouse and Laboratory Administrator.



The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our warehouse and engineering lab. This role supports our engineering team by managing inventory, coordinating logistics, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced technical environment



Key Responsibilities




  • Administer and control the movement of goods and personnel in and out of the warehouse.

  • Coordinate timely delivery of goods to customers.

  • Maintain and track inventory of spare parts, tools, consumables, and engineering equipment.

  • Ensure availability of critical parts and maintain utilization records linked to engineering tasks.

  • Administer the Electronic Planned Maintenance System (EPMS), encourage client sign-ups, and ensure accurate data input and system updates.

  • Collaborate with the development team to enhance EPMS with new, value-adding features based on client and operational feedback.

  • Organize and maintain the engineers' workshop and laboratory, ensuring a clean and efficient working environment.

  • Keep accurate records of engineering certifications and ensure all engineers remain compliant with necessary qualifications.

  • Follow up with field engineers to ensure timely submission of documentation, expense reports, and technical task reports.

  • Support the Head of Field Engineering in day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.

  • Ensure regular training and lab practice sessions are scheduled and attended by engineers.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Engineering Admin, Logistics, or a related field.

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in a technical or engineering environment preferred.

  • Proficiency in inventory management and warehouse control systems.

  • Experience with maintenance systems or ERP tools (e.g., EPMS) is an added advantage.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.

  • Familiarity with certification requirements and processes in the engineering field.
