We are seeking a licensed Community Pharmacist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, dispensing medications, and offering expert advice on health and wellness to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Dispensing Medications: Accurately dispense medications, ensuring the right medication, dose, and instructions are provided to patients.
Patient Counseling: Provide expert advice and guidance to patients on the safe and effective use of medications, including potential side effects and interactions.
Health and Wellness: Offer advice and guidance on health and wellness, including disease prevention and management.
Patient Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: Work with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Inventory Management: Manage inventory of medications and other products, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
Store Operations: Participate in store operations, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Requirements
Pharmacy Degree: A Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm or PharmD) from a recognized institution.
Experience: 2 - 4 years previous experience as a community pharmacist is desirable, but not essential.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
