Key Responsibilities




  • Oversee daily operations of all departments, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. 

  • Lead, motivate and mentor department heads and staff to achieve high performance.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment with a focus on professional development and accountability.

  • Lead strategic planning and execution of business objectives to support company growth in the construction sector.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, services, and revenue streams in line with market demands.

  •  Drive innovation in construction processes, technology adoption, and sustainability practices.

  • Manage cross-functional teams, providing clear direction, accountability, and performance feedback.

  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance across all projects and business units.

  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies.

  • Develop and monitor budgets, control project costs, and ensure overall financial performance.

  • Support recruitment, training, and development of staff, fostering a high-performance culture. 

  •  Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to guide strategic decisions.



Education and Work Experience:




  • A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

  •  Master’s degree or additional certifications in construction or business management is a plus.

  • 3-5  years Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the construction industry.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Programmes (MS Excel and MS Word specifically.)

  •  Strong background in managing large-scale construction projects, including budget control, scheduling, and resource management.

  •  Intrapreneurial experience within an established company, with a focus on driving internal innovation, process improvements, and new business development.

  • Deep understanding of the construction industry’s regulations, standards, and operational.

  •  Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and developing strategies to achieve both short-term and long-term business goals.
