Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead recruitment initiatives across all business units, ensuring the attraction and hiring of top-tier talent within the dynamic environment of tobacco manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG and/or highly regulated industries, with a deep understanding of the fast-paced demands and compliance requirements of such sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute talent acquisition strategies that support business growth and workforce planning within a tobacco manufacturing and FMCG context.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including requisition approval, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and HR business partners to define job requirements, candidate profiles, and optimal hiring approaches.
- Source candidates through a mix of channels including job boards, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, career fairs, and recruitment agencies.
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality candidate experience and uphold the employer brand at every touchpoint.
- Drive diversity and inclusion across all recruitment practices.
- Maintain compliance with applicable labor laws, internal recruitment policies, and industry-specific hiring standards.
- Monitor and report on recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, retention rates), providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Build a strong talent pipeline for future business needs, particularly in manufacturing, commercial, logistics, regulatory affairs, and operations.
- Represent the company at external networking events, career expos, and campus recruitment drives to attract top talent.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, including recruitment agencies and background check providers.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree or HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, PHR) is advantageous.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong background in recruiting within FMCG, manufacturing, or highly regulated industries (e.g., tobacco, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods).
- Proven ability to recruit for both blue-collar and white-collar roles across multiple functional areas.
- Sound knowledge of recruitment technologies, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and modern sourcing techniques.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-compliance, and performance-driven environment.
