Job Summary

• This is a full-time on-site role located in Lagos for a Senior Financial Accountant at Swift Networks Limited. 


• The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for financial statements, analytical tasks, finance-related activities, utilising accounting software, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports


• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and oversee daily accounting operations


• Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing and statutory deductions


• Perform monthly bank and cash reconciliations and monitor company cash flow


• Take full ownership offinancial control, including budget management, cost control and variance analysis


• Lead annual budgeting and support financial forecasting activities


• Ensure timely compliance with FIRS, LIRS and other regulatory requirements


• Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants as needed


• Maintain the fixed asset register and manage depreciation schedules


• Review and improve internal accounting processes, policies and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Second Class Upper/HND Upper Credit is a must)


• Professional certification in Accounting (e.g., ICAN, CPA, ACCA)


• Financial Statements and Financial Reporting skills


• Analytical Skills


• Experience in Finance and Accounting Software


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy


• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines


• Finance or any related field from a reputable Nigerian or international institution.
