Job Summary:




  • The HVAC Technician will install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

  • The ideal candidate will ensure optimal indoor air quality and climate control, following company protocols and safety guidelines.

  • This role requires a thorough understanding of HVAC systems, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heaters, and 

  •  ventilation systems.

  • Ensure systems operate efficiently and meet regulatory standards.

  • Clean and replace filters, check refrigerant levels, and calibrate systems.

  • Diagnose system malfunctions and provide solutions.

  • Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.

  • Test system performance using various testing equipment.

  • Communicate with clients about system issues, service schedules, and recommended upgrades.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Explain repairs and operational issues to customers in simple terms.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and client communications.

  • Comply with local HVAC codes, building standards, and safety regulations.

  • Handle refrigerants per EPA regulations and ensure environmental safety.

  • Follow all safety protocols to minimize risks of accidents and injuries.

  • Maintain clean, organized workspaces and handle tools responsibly.

  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).



Requirements:




  • OND, SSCE Test trade, or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience.

  • Technical certification in HVAC or a related field is preferred.

  • Proven experience as an HVAC technician or in a similar role.

  • EPA certification (Type I & II or Universal) preferred; other state-specific HVAC licensing as required.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and best practices.

  • Proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems.

  • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
