Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular sampling and laboratory testing of raw, treated, and distributed water.
- Monitor water treatment processes to ensure they meet NAFDAC, SON, and WHO quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all quality control activities and laboratory results.
- Inspect incoming raw materials and chemicals used in water treatment for compliance.
- Identify and report deviations or abnormalities in water quality and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Support the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality assurance.
- Assist in internal and external audits and ensure non-conformances are addressed timely.
- Collaborate with the production team to maintain quality standards across the treatment process.
- Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement within the facility.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.Sc./HND in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Water Resources Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in a water treatment or beverage manufacturing facility.
- Familiarity with NAFDAC, SON, and other regulatory standards in Nigeria.
- Proficiency in laboratory testing techniques and water analysis methods.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment chemicals and processes.
