Job Summary




  • We are looking for a strategic and compassionate HR Manager to lead the Human Resources department in our hospital. 

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, labor law compliance, training, and staff welfare, with a focus on supporting clinical and non-clinical teams in delivering excellent patient care.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategies aligned with hospital goals and healthcare regulations.

  • Lead recruitment and onboarding of qualified medical, technical, and administrative staff.

  • Handle employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution with empathy and professionalism.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards (e.g., JCI, NHIA).

  • Oversee payroll, employee benefits, leave administration, and HRIS database management.

  • Coordinate training, continuous medical education , and professional development programs.

  • Implement performance management systems and conduct periodic performance appraisals.

  • Promote employee engagement and staff well-being initiatives to maintain a healthy work environment.

  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and workforce planning.

  • Maintain proper documentation for audits, regulatory inspections, and accreditation purposes.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD is an added advantage).

  • Minimum of 4 years of HR experience, preferably in the healthcare or hospital sector.

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and healthcare compliance standards.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to handle sensitive issues with confidentiality and discretion.



Preferred Attributes:




  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare organization.

  • Familiarity with hospital licensing and accreditation processes.

  • Strong crisis management and problem-solving skills.
