Role Summary




  • We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, meet sales targets, and strengthen client relationships within the elevator and escalator industry. 

  • The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of B2B sales, market research, and project management, and be capable of working independently to deliver results.



Key Responsibilities




  • Execute the sales strategy as defined by the GM, Elevators & Escalators

  • Build and manage relationships with an assigned customer base, ensuring their needs are met

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the elevator and escalator segment

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis, including product and pricing evaluations

  • Prepare accurate and timely sales performance reports (actual vs. budget)

  • Drive the implementation of sales initiatives, campaigns, and events aligned with company goals

  • Promote service awareness in the market to support long-term sales and profitability

  • Conduct customer surveys and gather relevant industry information

  • Develop deep product knowledge and communicate value propositions effectively

  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure successful closure of deals

  • Liaise with internal teams to monitor project progress and follow up on payment collections.



Qualifications & Experience




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field

  • Minimum of 4–7 years of relevant work experience in B2B sales or the elevator/escalator industry.



Required Competencies:




  • Proven sales and business development skills

  • Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities

  • Background in Engineering is a plus

  • Proficiency in market research methods and tools

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively

  • Strong copywriting and analytical skills

  • Solid project management capabilities

  • Prior experience in the elevators/escalators industry is highly desirable.
