The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of the B2B and B2C safety equipment market.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking meetings.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer experience and satisfaction.
Provide weekly sales reports and market feedback to management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in safety equipment or industrial supplies.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with Lekki and surrounding business areas is a plus.
