Job Summary




  • The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. 

  • This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of the B2B and B2C safety equipment market.



Key Responsibilities




  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.

  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking meetings.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer experience and satisfaction.

  • Provide weekly sales reports and market feedback to management.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 4+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in safety equipment or industrial supplies.

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Familiarity with Lekki and surrounding business areas is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
