Key Responsibilities
Site Management & Supervision:
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site construction activities.
- Interpret construction drawings and ensure execution in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and standards.
- Monitor workforce productivity and ensure compliance with project timelines.
Project Planning & Execution:
- Assist in project scheduling, resource planning, and progress tracking.
- Identify potential delays or risks and proactively suggest mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that all structural works are carried out with technical accuracy and efficiency.
Quality Assurance & Control:
- Conduct inspections to ensure that materials and workmanship comply with project standards.
- Prepare and maintain quality control checklists and documentation
Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure HSE compliance on site.
- Identify hazards and conduct risk assessments.
- Promote a culture of safety among workers and subcontractors.
Technical Documentation:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Maintain site records including work permits, test results, and as-built drawings.
- Liaise with consultants, architects, and clients to resolve technical issues.
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Interface with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
- Participate in site meetings and report on project status.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in civil engineering, with a focus on building or infrastructure projects.
- Registered with a recognized engineering body (e.g., COREN, etc.)
- Proficient in civil engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, MS Project, etc.).
- Familiar with project management tools and site reporting systems.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOQs.
