Key Responsibilities




  • Post and reconcile journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.

  • Monitor and maintain the integrity of the general ledger accounts.

  • Generate customer invoices, track receivables, and follow up on overdue accounts.

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all company accounts.

  • Manage petty cash logs and reconcile discrepancies promptly.

  • Assist in consolidating departmental budgets and quarterly forecasts.

  • Ensure timely submission of tax filings and liaise with external tax consultants.

  • Maintain an up‐to‐date fixed asset register and perform periodic physical counts.

  • Implement and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during scheduled audits and follow up on audit queries.

  • Support the payroll process by compiling attendance data, calculating deductions, and preparing payroll journals.

  • Ensure all payroll liabilities (PAYE, pension, benefits) are accurately recorded and paid on time.

  • Work closely with finance, HR, and operations teams to address accounting‐related inquiries.



Skills & Qualifications




  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Experience: 2–3 years in accounting.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).

  • Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and strong communication skills.
