Job Brief

• We are looking for a diligent Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our Client's premises, assets, and personnel in Sagamu, Ogun State. 


• The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies and security threats.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, or other security threats.


• Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises.


• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents promptly and appropriately.


• Conduct security checks and inspections of designated areas.


• Maintain accurate records of security-related activities, incidents, and observations.


• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems.


• Provide assistance and support to employees and visitors as needed.


• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services as required.


• Report any security breaches, safety hazards, or suspicious activities to management.


• Follow security protocols, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security is a plus, with 0-5 years of experience.


• Proven experience as a security officer or related role.


• Strong observation and surveillance skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.


• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in stressful situations.


• Physical fitness and the ability to perform security-related tasks.


• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.


• Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.


• Integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information.


• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
