JOB SUMMARY




  • Responsible for developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue. Lead the sales and marketing team, monitor market trends, analyze customer needs, and identify opportunities for product promotion and market expansion. Researches and develops marketing opportunities, plans and implements new sales plans.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS




  • Develops and executes sales and marketing plans to meet company targets and objectives. 

  • Monitors market trends, identifies potential opportunities, and adjusts strategies accordingly. 

  • Researches and develops marketing opportunities and plans. 

  • Manages and motivates the sales and marketing team to achieve individual and team goals. 

  • Builds and maintains relationships with key customers and partners. 

  • Conducts market research and competitor analysis to gain insight and stay ahead in the market. 

  • Develops and delivers sales presentations and proposals to potential clients. 

  • Collaborates with the product development team to provide input on customer needs and market trends. 

  • Reports on the activities of the sales and marketing team, develops performance metrics, and tracks performance. 

  • Monitors and analyzes sales performance metrics to identify areas of improvement. 

  • Gathers, analyzes, and summarizes market data and trends and makes recommendations to management. 

  • Stays updated on industry trends and competitor activities. 

  • Develops marketing and sales budgets and manages team expenditure.



EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:




  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or other related fields from an accredited institution. 

  • Certification in CMP/CSE/SMEI is an added advantage. 



TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:




  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and strategies. 

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth. 

  • Proficient in using sales software and CRM systems. 

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite



WORK EXPERIENCE:




  • 5 – 7 years of experience as a sales and marketing manager.
