Role Overview
We’re hiring a Vendor Partnerships Lead to help scale our marketplace of event vendors in Nigeria. You’ll lead the charge in identifying, vetting, and onboarding high-quality vendors while offering deep insights into vendor dynamics and the event planning space. You'll work closely with leadership to shape operations and build a reliable, scalable vendor pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic insights on event industry dynamics and planner pain points
- Build and activate a vendor acquisition pipeline across key categories
- Leverage your industry network to expand vendor reach
- Conduct on-the-ground engagement to vet and onboard top vendors
- Collaborate with the Nigeria OpsCo team and report performance metrics
Ideal Background
- 3–5 years in event planning, vendor management, or a related space
- Strong relationships with Lagos-based event vendors and planners
- Excellent communicator and negotiator
- Passionate about tech, platforms, and scaling innovation
- Startup-ready: proactive, energetic, and solutions-driven
