About the Role

The Interior Design Architect will be responsible for interpreting client needs, creating technical drawings, sketches and preparing necessary documentation to bring design concepts to life. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, a strong portfolio, and the ability to work directly with clients to ensure their vision is realized.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss their architectural needs and preferences.


• Technical Drawings & Sketching: Develop design concepts, sketches, and technical drawings based on specifications.


• 2D, 3D Drawings & Visualization: Produce high-quality 2D and 3D renderings and visualizations to effectively communicate design concepts.


• Project Estimation & Quotations: Prepare accurate cost estimates and project documentation.


• Customer Interaction: Provide professional guidance to clients, helping them understand architectural choices and project feasibility.


• Design Revisions & Finalization: Incorporate feedback to refine designs, ensuring they meet client expectations.


• Collaboration: Work with other professionals, including construction teams and suppliers, to ensure seamless project execution.


• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and software updates related to architectural visualization.


• Other necessary tasks as required.

Requirements

• HND, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture (required).  


• Minimum of 2 years of experience with a strong portfolio of previous work.


• Smart, presentable, and professional.


• Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit etc.


• An architecture certification and/or license is preferred but not required.


• Excellent knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, regulations, and construction practices.


• Ability to interpret and visualize complex design concepts with the ability to create compelling 2D and 3D representations of concepts.


• Strong communication, customer service skills, as the role involves direct client interactions.


• Proximity to Life Camp, Abuja is important.


• Comfortable working Monday to Saturday
