Job Summary:
As an Inventory Intern, you will assist in monitoring stock levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting inventory management processes. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in inventory control, ERP systems, and logistics coordination while learning best practices in stock management.
Responsibilities:
- Help monitor stock levels across warehouses and project sites, ensuring timely replenishment.
- Participate in monthly and quarterly stock counts, reporting variances and discrepancies.
- Assist in verifying stock movements, ensuring all issued or consumed items are correctly posted in the system.
- Support the movement of materials to project sites and help maintain accurate material logs.
- Learn to update bin cards, check indent requests, and ensure proper documentation of stock transactions.
- Help coordinate deliveries with transport vendors and on-site teams.
- Prepare basic reports on material usage, wastage, procurement costs, and inventory trends.
Requirements
- A fresh graduate from either a University or Polytechnic in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Experience: 0 - 1 year minimum required.
Age: 18 - 25 years (Maximum)
