Job Description



  • Manage shift operations and participate in shift requirements when needed.

  • Contribute to site safety performance improvement by holding workers and themselves accountable for safety

  • Work with site scheduling in planning of outage work and day-to-day activities.

  • Administer all employee (cylinder-refillers and dispatch riders) schedules and provide training to subordinates as per requirement and supervise all everyday shift schedules and assist to resolve all maintenance issues.

  • Maintain record of all LPG coming to plant and maintain efficient safety regulations for same and organize all tools to increase efficiency of all activities.

  • Maintain all plant equipments (compressors, pumps & generator) and perform troubleshoot on same to resolve all issues.

  • Supervise efficient operations of all plant equipments to achieve all plant objectives.

  • Maintain compliance to all local, state and Federal regulations.

  • Prepare efficient plans for purchase of all manufacturing materials and manage inventory.

  • Manage inventory of all plant supplies and ensure accuracy in same according to required policies and procedures and manage all communication for safety standards.

  • Perform regular inspection on all machinery and maintain compliance to all regulations.

  • Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of equipment etc.)

  • Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measure.

  • Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issuesor non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)

  • Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.

  • Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.

  • Record and investigate incidents to determine causes.

  • Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper manager.


Education / Experience Required



  • Minimum qualification of OND in Science / Engineering / Technology.

  • Proven 2 - 5 years work experience in a gas plant.

  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements for operating plants.

  • Familiar with operating plant equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Strong leadership and managerial attributes.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel.

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
